The book draws on examples from sociobiology and game theory in explaining the relationship between ethics and self-interest. It would be interesting to discuss the merits of Pojman’s arguments here, and the rest of the positions and arguments in the book, which are subject, each and every one, to intense debate in the relevant ethical literature, but that’s not my purpose wronv writing this review – nor do I have the time to explore these avenues!
