When am I ever going to be able to just relax and d,x me? I would read this book time and time again!!!! He tells the story from when he was a young child training his dogs to snatch purses, all the way up to when he got his record deal and signed to Def Jam. I recommend this book to anybody who wants to have a insight into why the rapper is as messed up as he is so they can see that it starts at the foundation of being raised. I like the way the author took in all the notes from DMX and was very accurate in what he was writing.
I couldn’t help but feel sorry for him, but autobiograpjy sorry to say he is lost. I learned about all the problems he faced as a little boy and how these problems impacted his life. I never knew if it helped or not.
Overall, this book was a pretty good read and gives us a glimpse into his life, from birth to the late 90’s. This book was the greatest achievement of my hip-hop writing career. I only picked the book up because I enjoy reading about people so unlike me.
